We must focus the frustrations created by islam.

An Alabama man, Jason Micheal Gardener, has done something stupid and ineffectual.
After reportedly offering "racial slurs" at a Tuscaloosa restaurant managed by Bahrain native, Jassim Maden he shot into a parked car, in which Nabil Chagri and family awaited their food.

He is now charged with attempted murder .

Recent outbursts over the publication of cartoons makes obvious to many that islam is not the "religion of peace" that it is widely reported to be. This will, no doubt, cause a great anxiety among the, for so long, duped. We must educate this frustration. Muslims have in the fullness of time proved great allies. No person but rather the violent ideology of islam itself is the enemy.

Distempered and violent passions cannot be allowed to kill the next Ali Sina.

Maccus Germanis,
An event such as this was bound to happen. I don't condone this, of course, but some people are at the boiling-over point as they watch appeasement upon appeasement. And it is a tribute to American patience and respect for rule of law that such events haven't occurred more frequently. Americans' restraint immediately following 9/11 was remarkable, IMO.

I also wonder if time will show that the shooter was mentally unstable. Perhaps you can keep an eye on developments as you are in Alabama (if I remember correctly).

PS: I apologize for not stopping by your site more frequently. Somehow I thought you were a team blogger over at Pedestrian Infidel. Overload on my part, I suppose.

No need to apologize, as I tend to post in intermediate binges.

Hi again, AOW.

I agree all round that this is an unfortunate but predictable response to the nature of the struggle we find ourseves in. I harp endlessly about the need for law as consensual and universal. Muslims are a police matter. Islam is a mater of general concern to the public. The two have little in common from our positions.

Using racial slurs and shooting at innocent victims are both wrong. They are also fuel for the on going attack on our Second Amendment.

WE muslim are not a police matter. we are humans like everyone else and have the same right like everyone else in this country... this is not a "predictable response to the nature of the struggle we find ourseves in." this is a stupid act of hatred. Ms Chagri,
I hope you understand my aim here was to caution and convict infidel bloggers to remember the, sometimes latent, humanity of muslims.

Ali Sina, who I refer to in this post, was a muslim before he embraced his humanity over the violent traditions of islam.

How is your husbands health? Has Tuscaloosa been supportive to you?
