A map of the ancient world centered on the Mediterranean sea shows a wave of blood coming from the east, leaving behind death and smoldering ruins. An iris appears in the middle of the sea in which, is reflected, a mirror. Then does the murderer finally weep.

To all that hold the mirror (of which there are so many, here are just a few jihadwatch, faithfreedom, thetruthproject, nodhimmitude, and infidel alliance), thank you, and please continue.

Bush is a dhimmi

But he vows to never surender to an evil that he fears to name. Denmark (an ally in Iraq) is being extorted by this "noble religion" Bush gives no mention to that "willing" ally. Hamas gets just one more time. Or what?

OK so maybe calling him a dhimmi is a bit rash. Other parts of the speech were more encouraging. But "noble religion?"

Infidels Night Out

Dag has been suggesting for a couple of weeks now that people, wearing blue scarves, meet at McDonald's 7-9pm on thursdays in sympathy to the revolutionbleue. Scarves? I wonder if Dag understands how warm it is here. Nevertheless, I went to a McDonald's on thurs Jan 26 but no one was there and I didn't stay. I thought to myself... Orange is the color of Anti-disengagement Israelis, and nothing to me says "Infidels Night Out" like beer, bacon cheeseburgers and buxom blondes. So I'd rather go to Hooter's but I could make the concession, and a greater effort (the McDonald's looked like it was about to close) to be a team player.

These Baptist Need A Drink

Like perhaps a "hot cup of shut the hell up!"
I have recently read in a local paper that Westboro Baptist Church is planning a protest of Sgt First Class Stephen J. Wright of Talladega, Alabama. I am consoled that the Patriot Guard Riders, a group familiar with WBC, is marshalling to shield the family from the hateful sloganeers. The family,wisely perhaps, seems to closely guard any timeline for their memorial plans. I suspect that the burial will be done at a sudden time without much press coverage. It will be sad if a U.S. soldier must be sneaked away for burial but I can see the wisdom of telling as few as possible. And I am grateful for Patriot Guard Riders mission of respect.
